Meet Ashlie

Ashlie is a paediatric occupational therapist based on Great Keppel Island. Since graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2019, Ashlie has worked exclusively in paediatrics. Ashlie is passionate about supporting children, adolescents and their families to thrive in everyday life.

Ashlie's areas of interest include:

  • Toileting and continence support - including bathroom anxiety, bowel and bladder accidents, bedwetting and functional constipation.
  • Adolescent emotional and social wellbeing - supporting neurodivergent teens as they navigate changing emotions, puberty, friendships, tech use, online safety and the transitions through high school.
  • Emotional regulation - working collaboratively with parents and carers to better understand and support their child's behaviours.

As a clinician living and working remotely herself, Ashlie is passionate about delivering services via Telehealth. She understands the unique challenges regional and remote families face in accessing support and is committed to providing flexible, high-quality therapy that reaches families wherever they are.

Outside of Pip OT, Ashlie can usually be found outdoors — swimming, snorkelling, playing soccer, and making the most of the relaxed lifestyle the Capricorn Coast has to offer.
